K i found a way to get files into itunes again, you gotta right-click over your audio file, then go to properties, a window with tabs will pop up, go the the details tab, and try to fill in everything under media. It makes it look like a legit file, and itunes accepted it

yeah i like that place. they have some good stuff there. in the past 4 years ive seen maybe 4 real good stores go under because business has declined so much because of downloading.

I still think you might be trying to add songs you already have loaded, that or you have some weird settings enabled. I did a quick google search and haven't seen anyone else mentioning what you're experiencing.

go to itunes and click edit then preferences..there click on advanced and make sure the box "Copy to iTunes Media folder when addint to library" and if you download it into a file make sure the files are "extracted" and the file isnt zipped
