I'm not sure how I'm gonna fix this thing then. Because nothing is working

----------

Unless I buy a lion USB and try that. I haven't found it on apple website but I have found it on amazon. The only issue is that it's not direct from apple so idk. I'm lost

This is the usb I found.

You could go to the Apple store and try to purchase mavericks on a computer there and then just log out of your Apple ID.

Too bad I don't live near you. I'm usually good at solving problems like these if I'm actually in front of the computer in question.

Some best buys have Macs but not all. Guitar Centers usually sell macs and have them on display.

Okay I'm gonna have to search the Internet and find a place.

----------

The closest best buy is about a 1/2 hour. Drive I'm thinking about jumping in the truck and going and trying to do it on one of there computers and then going home and trying again. It says they have an apple shop.

I've erased everything it's not set to a specific apple account. When I use my account it tells my I haven't purchased mavericks with my account because I haven't.

----------

And it's not wanting to do anything with the snow leopard disc. If I have the disc in it will get stuck on the apple logo. If it's out I get a blinking folder with a question mark. The computer worked fine before I did the erase

Okay, would it be possible to use someone's Apple ID that has downloaded mavericks to upload mavericks on my computer and then log in to mac store with my account and purchase it and then restore again and then upload mavericks with my account this time? This erasing the other Apple ID off my computer

This is where I'm at now. I'm rewriting the hd with zeros and gonna retry the snow leopard disc. If it doesn't work I'm gonna make an apt with an apple store and see what they can do. I know it's something stupid. Something doesn't wanna place nice and it's causing a bunch of trouble. If anything I'll buy a lion usb off amazon and then try it. I just don't wanna go to the apple store because they are gonna rape me to help. They want to charge me to ask a question for technical support. Fuhhhh that lol.

Okay I just talked to the guy at apple and he said that I can go on another computer and purchase mavericks with my Apple ID and then put my id in this computer and it will boot mavericks. That I can't use the snow leopard disc because it's downgrading and it won't allow it. That I can either go in and log in with someone else's Apple ID that has purchased mavericks and then change it. Or go on another computer and purchase it. Does anyone wanna help me out? Cause if we do it there and use one of there computers I'm gonna get charged for it because they have to put me on the clock.

And my body's computer doesn't have mavericks on it so I can't use his Apple ID, and its on 10.5 so it doesn't have the mac store to get it. So I'm stuck. I either need an Apple ID to use, or if someone can use mine and download it with my Apple ID
