Default Looking for some android apps...

Attention android OS users...looking for some good apps to DL. So far just have ATK, Where?, Juice Defender & andoku...

Prefer free...but cheap is also welcomed.

Anyone use locale? It is $10, but has a few features I would definitely use, just not sure if it is worth the $10.

My Tracks - Free app that google makes. I use it when I ride my dirt bike. Basically it tracks your route and keeps up with your stats (speed, avg speed, distance etc...)

Pretty nice for free.

If you have DirecTv download their app.

A new app I recently used is called "where's my droid"...When you lose or misplace your phone, most of the time it ends up that its on silent! so calling it doesn't help...well, with this app, you just text ure droid from another cell a phrase like "lost phone" and it will ring for a minute or 5, whatever you setup.

Weather channel app works well. Finds my location when I travel so I don't have to try to look it up. I keep a widget of the calendar and weather channel on my main desktop.

Mabilo Ringtones and Mabilo wallpaper are ok.

and the urban spoon app is nice as well.

Enjoy.

You're welcome. I used the app the other night. Funny thing was that I had left the phone at my parents. It fell down in the couch. Well at about 1am I realized I didnt have my phone so I texted it from my wife's. An hour after texting it over and over my dad calls me and he was enraged! haha he couldnt find them damn thing for an hour! But, bottom line, it worked!

One of my favorite apps is policestream. Its an (almost) real time police scanner. Its a buck, but very cool.

Another cool home is Helix launcher 2. Its free gives you 7 pages and 3d app drawer. Plus u can go to any page by holding the main button for a couple seconds then touch what screen you want to go to intead of dragging screen to screen
