For those of you that have looked at the black friday ads... any good deals out there? What do you plan on shopping for?

I haven't really seen anything worthwhile yet so I'll probably just look for some online deals the day of (and use http://www.fordrangerforum.com/shop/ of course).

The holidays have become too materialistic for me, and I only shopped on Black Friday once. I will never do that again because if one doesn't start off early with a game plan, then forget it. The internet is the way to go, and unfortunately being out of work means less money I will spend overall, but I really only have those closest to me - parents, wife, son, etc.

I saw something about a 50 inch RCA TV at KMart for like $248.00

That's a pretty crazy deal.

Back in the day, RCA was crap. The colors weren't vibrant, and I don't know if quality improved, but I'm not rushing out to the store. They probably only have 3 in stock.

I know walmart is having a 60" LED vizio for 698 or something. Should be hearing about some riots. I tend to wait for cyber monday. Much less stressful and I dont feel like I need to bash somebodies skull in.

I expect there to be a riot somewhere. A couple years ago it was at a Wal-Mart where a guy got trampled upon entering, and Wal-Mart was held liable and had to face a fine. Other incidents emerged last year of chaos with people running around and not being told that they needed a number or something. With the Wal-Mart and Target having the Thanksgiving Day Black Friday deals and the movement growing about retail not taking a day off, and Wal-Mart accusing a union of overstepping its boundaries, I wouldn't be surprised if something does happen. I don't know what, but nothing surprises me this day in age. I am going to be at home online probably visiting this site and watching football. If someone thinks they are saving money and want to risk getting knocked over or being the aggressor, then so be it. I'll be safe here.

Yeah, I think I remember hearing something about that.

Yeah, unless the store is located very close to a mall. Where I live there are two malls about 4 miles away in opposite directions. The one has a grocery store across the street and the other has a grocery store that shares the same driveway as the mall and splits.

There is a sale going on at Amazon.com I think.
Also if there are any Bronco guys out there, Tom's Bronco Parts and Wild Horses will be having a big sale coming.

I usually just go to Home Depot or lowes to take advantage of the good deals on tools and what not.

I basically just go shopping for myself on Black Friday because my wife does all the other shopping haha
