Homemade body lift
Does anyone know a cheap way to do a two inch body lift on a 05 ford ranger I don't wanna send a lot of money on it but I wanna get it to fit a lil bigger tires so it's a little higher off the ground

A true body lift runs less than $200.
It's not worth half-assing.
Worst case, there is nothing wrong with saving up some money and buying the kit once you have it.

Re: Homemade body lift
Too much crap to fix with a 2 inch.. steering ext, bumper brackets, ground strap brackets, Rad drop etc. Its either do a 1 inch or suck it up and spend 150-200 dollars for a 3 inch. Lift and cheap shouldnt go together.

Plus, larger tires would cost substantially more than the body lift would.

Cranked torsion keys will cost you much more in the long run....
Performance Accessories body kit runs like $200 and change.

Re: Homemade body lift
Amazon was cheaper than summit, and free overnight shipping!

Re: Homemade body lift
Yup...so cheap, it was cheaper than new bed bolts and faster to get, which is why my truck got a body lift. Which led to the downward spiral of modding it. Damn it.
