I don't know if anyone else has experienced this but from my receint junk yard trips there has been a plethora of Explorers and sadly v6 rangers poping up in very good condition. Plenty of good parts for anyone wanting to do conversions on their rangers

Funny part is most of the clunker vehicles are in better condition then the ones still on the road.

My local yards have at least 20 per yard, and one yard has probably 35 expos. TONS. too bad I can't really use anything off of 'em. Although there are those manual tcases I've been eyeing at the yard in those gen1 expos.

yeah. would need to make sure your trans has the threads on the tailhousing on the driverside for the linkage to bolt to though. If you're manual, you be SOL for sure.

No....just a drill at the junkyard. You can also use explorer handles and those are VERY plentiful right now at yards. Just need paint and rivet them to your existing doors.

Now just to get someone to take me to the junkyard 65 miles away found a sweet Red 06 ranger in a yard there. Only want 2500 for the whole thing and it has some things people may want
