Just curious here as I'm pondering doing the same thing... 98 foglight pigtails are different? Or your 98 just doesn't have factory fogs?

i have factory fogs. From what I have been told they are different.

I know they are different year/style, but maybe just for curiousity sake... you could pull one of the bulbs/pigtails out of your 04 and see if it plugs into the 98.

What exactly do the pigtails look like that you are looking for? If it Is the pigtail/ plug that fits into a 9145/ H10 bulb then I have what you are looking for

I'm not going to cut up the 04 just to see if it works. Every one who swapped from gen4-gen5 has needed the newer pigtails.

Its the part that plugs into the bulb that I need. I have to cut my current ones and splice the new ones in. Do they still have some of the wire on them still?

Yes, about 10-12" of wire on them. I think I have some that even have some spade crimps on them too

Did you ever get what you needed? I have a wiring harness from 2003 Edge with fogs that I could cut them off for you.
