I am needing a 2006 Volkswagen Beetle antenna assembly.

It HAS to be one that has satellite radio. Non satellite radio antennas are noticeable different. Other way to positivly tell is looking at the radio. (see below)

Only available through dealership and they want 337.00 for one.


Not positive on what years will work. I believe from searching 2006-2011



Satellite equipped cars will have a radio like this and on the right hand side at the top of the round dial it says SAT

You have to remove the headliner to get the base off. There is a nut under there. It is a 3/4" I think.

Wife took the car through the car wash and the rest came off so radio is no non working.

Still no luck finding this? I keep looking but it is very rare to see one at a yard and if you do its the regular radio style.

just send a picture like you had posted of exactly what you need. There are 2 Vw's at the yard with similar antennaes

Looks like this one like a computer mouse in a way.
You have to pull the headliner down to remove the nut to get it off.





If it looks like this then it is not the right one.

All depends how the wires connect. If your just unplug them then no. If they attach some fancy way and you cant just unplug them then yes.
