Hey uh, You guys DO know about the March of Dimes event going on at FP on the 28th right? Heard it on the radio today. Supposedly 10K people(?). If this is true then GOOD LUCK meeting at the boathouse

I heard about that last night on my way home. That was exactly what I was thinking. We might have to postpone for a week. I think it would be a better deal all the way around anyway. I know that there are a few of us that are on a day by day basis: a few work, a few other things that popped up and a few that say that they are a definate NO.

I think waiting til the next week would be better anyway but that is my two cents though.

ok i thought the 27th was the day for forest park bbq and the 28 was just a morning get together.the 27th and 28th = friday, saturday, why are we getting bummed out about something happening the day after we will be there? we can still do the bbq at the park, and then saturday morning a breakfast before everyone heads out kinda like what was planned all along. AM I MISSING SOMETHING HERE????

Yeah, the 27th is the day but according to what I heard on the Radio. Sunday is the day of the March of Dimes thing. I guess apparently there are a few other things going on Saturday also.

I was all in for the Saturday - the following day. But things have come up now and I know there are others that are kind of iffy also now because of all these events.

I wasn't saying you guys shouldn't go ahead and do it. I just know what I heard on the radio that they said the park was going to be full all weekend.

I thought the meet-up was both days. I'm in class on friday and you cant request off a day from class. I got Saturday off, but it doesnt look like its even gonna matter

well it is a park, there will be people there, but a friday afternoon, cant be that bad because most people are still at work. besides i dont mind people checking out my ranger, if i did i wouldnt have taken so many pix, and posted them up on websites.
