Hmm okay. I'd like to find something that has the swich and all the wires with it. Do they even make something like that or are they all just the lights and mounting stuff?

Are you looking for halogen, led, or hid lights cause I have a suggestion for all 3

Haha okay so I'm not very educated with lights. Hooking up a cb radio was a stretch for me so I'm just looking for lights that are bright so i guess halogen haha I'll stay away from led right now. Just something simple to install haha

Yeah, u can find kits with the lights, wires, and switches, hell i know Fleet Farm and Walmart has cheap kits with all that too.
Of course all the expensive light kits, like KC daylighters, and Hella's and PIAA lights all come with everything too...but your'e looking at $100+ for 2 lights.

Oh okay. I'm just looking for something simple to install. I don't need anything too crazy haha. Just looking for something to go behind my grille if I end up with an 04-05 one

Hellas are fairly cheap (def not over $100 Glenn!!) And the come with mounting hardware and a wiring kit. Fairly bright but not brighter than your headlights low beams. If your looking for brighter rigid duallies are good but Baka design squadrons are better. But then your getting really $$$

And something to keep in mind. I liked my Hellas at the start but then wanted brighter. Which means more $$ plus you have a extra set of lights. Might as well go for a good bright ass set of lights the first time

Kragean off-road lights are very bright hid lights that are fairly affordable and are one of my top choices in lights

Another option is to get a set of regular hella 500s and follow the how to on here for converted it to hid. Pretty simple to do.

Alright thanks for all the info. I think i can mod the header pannel to fit lights behind it, it doesn't seem too hard and I'm leaning towards Hellas right now. Because then i have the option to mod it to hid later on

No problem. Hellas are a decent light. If you have any more questions feel free to ask. I have researched this topic to death since I've owned my ranger.
