Walmart has those blue light strips in red. All it is, is a led shining light in a plastic beam with Black clips on the end. They have 3m tape on the end so you can tape up in hidden places todo like you want. You can hard wire Em but they come with a cigaret lighter power source. I have mine on a 3 out let toggle switch 12V box which Walmart also sells.

Yeah my buddy has them in his grand Prix. I'd wire them to my headlight switch. Have a switch in between though if I'd want to turn them off

ohhh shit don't smoke in there either. Lol I have the toggle switch box under my seat in the middle so I can just flick it on. I want to get a synchronizer so I can sync it to the beat of a song.
