Saw your center console, looks good!! still working on the brackets man. And next time use like 320 or better to scuff your stuff 80 is way to harsh. And if you're painting buy some water based solvent.

The mounting brackets for the console, that the shell goes to, and the bracket that goes where the airbag and ashtray were are the only brackets I need to install the ford explorer full length center console?

In the explorer, that big bracket, mounts to a other bracket that is welded onto the floor. And I think that's why I was getting confused before.
I just need Glenn or another member that has done the mod to confirm what I'm thinking.

Doesn't that scratch your arm up when you use it as an arm rest? Or did you do something different on the arm rest part?
