Ill let ya in on a secret. Lol. I paid $700 for my first AR with 5 boxes of ammo. For what that gun was, I couldnt have built one that nice with all new parts. Smith & Wesson M&P Sport. Still retails in that same price range. Im thousands of rounds into that gun without an issue. Just another good option to think about.

Ima build my shop this spring. Got everything together except the cement and the steel siding. Hoping to get the well and septic in by fall, so that I can build a small apartment in one corner of it.

I eyed that thing up so much!!! Did you get one with that 5r rifling? They don't come with them now

Well that's smart. Just make it separate. No opening from garage into second level. Have stairs outside that go into it. -__- someone in your line of work "" should know this.

There's many ways to do it. I just thought of three at least.

Nope. Plain jane, non chrome lined, 1/8 twist barrel. 5r is overrated, IMO. Unless youre doing competition shooting from a bench at 500+ yards, the average shooter isnt gonna gain anything from it.
