In the gravel pits u would be fine.
On the general trail u would be ok, but not the really hard trails, some which i won't even go through.
Take in mind this place is about 60% for atvs 20% dirtbikes and 20% vehicles.
Now dirtbikes can ride on the atv trails, but atvs can't ride on the bike trails, too narrow. And atvs and bikes can ride on the vehicle trails too. So the place is really really suited for atvs.
Last year I was there I did see a few jeeps and trucks on the ohv trails and in the pits.
When my truck was stock, I tried going down the trails, had no problem in the easy stuff, but was too scared to try the really iffy stuff. Didn't have anyone around to pull me out if I got stuck lol.

Not sure on how much mud there will be, if that area has had alot of rain or not.
But i am sure a few of us will have tow ropes.
Anyone have a winch, lol.

We will start shooting for the 13th.
If u have a 4 wheeler or dirtbike, bring it too!!
Also bring gas and gas cans, as the closest station from the park is like 30 miles.
I will get and post up directions.

Anyone have any ideas for food??
Everyone bring your own cooler and drinks.
I will be bringing my camera, but feel free to bring your own.
I would also bring a towel and some extra clothes.
If the weather is nice and my 4wheeler is coming, i may end up camping up there. I may go up there Friday eve and stay til Sunday... So i may be bringing my tent and stuff, if it's not too cold then lol.

Also we may need some tools if anything breaks. I will be bringing my wrenches and ratchets and sockets and stuff. If anyone else has a good assortment of tools, bring them.
I will also have my jumper pack and even jumper cables.

Don't worry bout it getting stolen.
But if u are, I use a cable and lock on mine, when i leave it unattended.
But I don't think u will be too far from your truck at all.

That would work.
But like I said, at the park u probably won't be too far from your truck, I would only worry bout it like in the city or something.

When I am camping there and off riding the trails on my atv, I lock everything up.

I have a 2001 xlt off road with 4wd. What set up should I go with to gain more travel, more importantly in the front end, than the rear end..

Charlie, with a 4x4 you really only have two realistic yet EXPENSIVE options. 1- coil over conversion. Unfortunately ORW doesn't make the kit anymore and neither does rcd. You would have to piece one together. 2- LT kit from dixin bros. More for prerunner style but would give you what you want and much more.

Anyway you go its going to be 1k to 2k+.

Or you could do what I am doing once I have the funds. Replace tbars and do a mild crank to level it out and replace all 4 shocks with bilstein 5100s. Also check to if you need knew balljoints

They are fairly expensive but are top of the line. A lot of people on here run them. If I can remember right I was quoted at $215 for all 4
