My vinyl for decals isnt as thick as the vinyl that it was covered in and my vinyl has the sticky backing. Im not sure if mine will stick to the foam padding and be as durable.
So im gonna go a different route with it and actually recover it in a similar material, red, and go from there.
It shouldnt be more than $30(plus shipping) but trust me its gonna look f'n awesome when im done.
