Guy's, yesterday while starting my truck, the headlights flashed, and so did the interior gauges. and it seemed like it was a little hesitant to turn over. It ran fine once it was going. Do you think it's time for a new battery?

Time to do a load test on her, and no Glen not that load test... or do the light test because every battery I've had go bad just stopped working. Could be something more serious, no need to spend an extra hundred twenty on a battery if you don't need to.

Well it couldn't hurt but you could just go flick on your headlights and come back in 20 minutes, if they're dead or dying and sooner than half an hour replace it.

Wouldn't stay running then. Could be a starter problem. One of the wires starting to loosen to one of the many electronic devices powered by that magical DC box. Could be a lot of things. Worst case scenario you spend a couple hours looking at wires because you bought a battery and it wasn't that. Remember its starting to get cold which reeks havoc on your ranger danger!!

I'm taking my ranger to get the water pump fixed hopefully soon.
Hopefully that is the problem...

I got my fingers crossed!!!

So all of a sudden on my flashpaq on the new update, it requires 91 octane fuel for the performance tune....makes sense but before the update I could run the performance tune on 87 octane....

I just am using the 87 octane tune. I might as well use it since I still have it!

It says right on the tuner to use higher octane fuel right before I was going to install it
