You should! Im about halfway done with mine. Work takes up a lot of my time

I bought some indoor/outdoor carpet and carpet glue for it. Cut out sections at a time and glued them. Started with the top, then the sides, and I have to finish the bottom parts in the next couple days.

Ill post pics in a minute. Gotta get them off my phone.

How much do u think it all cost you?
Where did you get all the materials and glue?
What brand of glue is it?

What worries me about carpet is like cleaning it, washing it out with a pressure washer.



If u still want it. But getting it to u is the hard part. $75 for the topper, but it would cost like $75 or more in gas for travel.
Either I come to u, or u come to me, or we meet half way.
Another option would be for me to bring it that way either at our next meet, or when I go thru that way to go to Northfield-Faribault area for four-wheeling with buds this summer.

I am over in Fergus Falls now visiting family. I will post pics of my new red topper probly Sunday night.
Overall its in good condition. Has a few minor scratches and scuffs.
The rear window/door needs some work and a new lock.
It has this weird lip going all around the sides of the bottom of the topper, that is a dirt and debris collector. My green one is smooth all the way down to the sides where it meets the bed, but this red one has this ugly lip with a gap. I think I am going to fill it with silicone or something. Any ideas?
Its hard to describe but I will take pics and post up later.

Oh the guy I bought the red topper from also has a 99 ranger reg cab 2wd that the topper was from. I told him about FRF and gave him a card.
Hopefully he joins.

I bought the carpet from Menards when it was on sale and for the glue and other materials I just went to my local Home Depot and told them what I was doing and the guy set me up with some glue people use to carpet their boats and a trowel with a large notch. Just make sure you buy glue that can be applied and hold to fiberglass.

Pics of my new RED Topper I got.. thanks Machine for finding it on craigslist!

It has a single sliding window up front, instead of the double one, so it matches my cab's single rear sliding window perfectly.

It's not carpeted on the inside.. but i will eventually get that done.
First on my list is to get an Explorer roof rack and put on it, and eventually a basket, and some lights!





This pic shows the lip at the bottom, my green one does not have this. This lip is really bad for collecting dirt and water, i am thinking about filling it with some type of silicone or something, got any ideas?


I think the red of the topper is a dam good match for the red of my truck, what do you guys think?

So right now i have two rangers, and 3 toppers. My black aluminum one, which is currently on my white ranger. The green one, which is on my flat bed trailer, and now this red one.
Machine is going to buy the black aluminum topper this summer, then the green one will get painted white and go on the white ranger. lol

I like it! Color matches pretty well.

For the gap I think it would look really good if you use black silicone and scrap it so it is smooth and flush with everything. With the herculiner bed rails being black it would complement it very nicely
