If you do it don't go cheap on bulbs. I did and it looked like ass. Then I ended up just running an LED strip behind the entire thing and still ended up with hotspots.

well let me know if and when you do it. I'd like to see it. Mine looked good but I wasn't gentle with the needles and split 2 of them. So my speedo wouldn't go past 60 without slipping and fuel randomly dropped past zero full or not. It ended in $70 needle kit from USSpeedo.

lol disregard those . I had (have) little to no experience with stuff like that and jumped in it blind. And learned from it. Final product was great. But don't be bullheaded like I was and skip steps and assume nothing is your fault. But that goes for any project

btw, what grit sand paper should I use to remove the green film?
Also I read that people replace them, I think, with Diffusion Kit Lighting Filters

i don't remember exactly but I believe I used a high grit that I just had laying around. Like 2000 or something. Just be very careful with the white faces when your removing the needle. I barely scraped it with one of the gauge needles and it took the white off. Light showed through. So the flowmaster sticker was there for a reason. I haven't read anything about the light filters. Il have to look into it.

from the ones I saw it looks like a great idea. Definitely get rid of any hotspots. Just got for a very lightly frosted filter so It doesn't dull it down too much.
