I'm confused... google and mapquest says on MN 64, turn right onto 36th st SW.. is this also Hwy 2 as calvin calls it?

yeah its confusing, i think the 36st sw may refer to the dirt road for the park's main entrance..

basically if you're coming up hwy 64, look for that old building, on the right, take that road, and go about 2-3 miles, look for big brown wooden sign in the right ditch, for the park.
There will be a dirt road by the one sign, that is the main road, it goes to the public parking areas and has camping sites all down it.

For meeting purposes, don't go down that road, keep going and look for a huge gravel pit on the right side, there will be a big mud pit there, if its not dry.

From the other side.
Just behind where those atv guys are is the entrance and the main paved road...



Basically that main dirt road goes for like 24 miles, and has tons of small atv and jeep/ohv trails that branch off it, and then connect back up to the main road somewhere else.
There are tons and tons of ATV/Dirtbike trails here, and many vehicle trails..
The main dirt road that connects everything is not hard or dangerous...cars and campers travel down it with no problems.

All the other actual trails vary in difficulty...many are fine, just hilly and narrow, some have mud holes, etc..

There is also the Moose Run trails and roads on the other side of the hwy, nice dirt and sandy roads, good scenery and beautiful lakes. These trails are mostly horse trails, so driving on the main roads there u gotta be careful for horses and atvs.

Here's me and charlie at one of them..this is where i may be camping.
