The Oct 12th meet sounds great- I'm really hoping I can make it. Gotta show off the new truck (since the March 2013 totalling of the golden steppie).
I've been popping in the thread every so often to keep an eye on all the fun you guys are having. Sounds like life tosses it around for all of us!
This summer I've been taking our Scamp camper out for a few trips, most recently out to Colorado. This has given me the opportunity for a lot of projects on both the Ranger and the Scamp (1987 model year). The camper weights about 2200-2400lbs fully loaded up, then I toss gear in the bed of the truck and still get ~15-16mpg on the highway. I generally get ~17-19mpg with the Ranger doing the city/highway running of daily life.
