Haha. Sounds redundant dosnt it... My pulling truck is a 3/4 ton f250. Its in the process of being gutted and stripped. Its a7.3. I cant just drive it to the track anymore lol.

Glen, its a 4.0l. 4door, xlt, its got all the bells n whistles. Even a sunroof! Lol. But its a real clean truck. Im certinly not taking less than 4500. I dont take losses on vehicals if i can help things.

Cool idea, I'd maybe like a shirt or hat. I think a cool one would be a plain shirt with a big first-gen Ranger logo on it with the blocky letters.

I just purchased a hi lift jack extreme from a guy off of craigslist. He was asking 40 bucks and he only used it like twice. I couldn't pass that deal up!!

Having a high-lift in the field with me at work has saved my ass so many times. I had a tire blow out on a 22 foot lowboy trailer while I was pulling a tractor and a seed drill one time and I used the high lift to jack the sucker up and change the tire even with the tractor on the rig.

Glenn, you really need to stop caring when people dislike the 3.0
(Throw your 4.Gay in the trash and get a real motor. it's a good place to start)
you'll never get everyone to like the 3.0, just as some people dislike the 4.0 OHV.

Your truck looks good.

I dont care if they like it or not..theres no need to bash anyone or anyone's truck cuz its a 3.0.
I hate it when they do that and they dont look at, or have respect for someones truck and all the time and work they put into it..

I would rather have my tricked out custom 3.0 ranger than an all stock 4.0 ranger..

And when im all done with my ranger, frame up, its all going to be redone and all awesome and custom....and when...i repeat, when, my 3.0 dies (if it dies) i will be putting in a 5.0.

I work hard for my truck..i paid for every penny that went into it...i.have the title, its all mine...and i do 90% of all the work on it..and i hate it when some 4.0 punk that probably doesnt even change his own oil and his mommy and daddy bought his truck, comes in dissing my truck cuz its a 3.0..

In the end...it dont matter if its a 2.3 or a 3.0 or a 4.0...its still a Ranger...and every guy with a full size ia gonna rag on all the ranger owners anyway no matter what engine they have..

Glenn, people will always bash peoples rangers, but i don't think they really mean it. I like to think of it as good natured ribbing. Nobody would ever come up to another ranger owner and tell them "Your 3.0 sucks" to their face.
your truck puts mine to shame.

I understand the ribbing..but it pisses me off when they do it to a new guy that just joined and has less than 10 posts...and then he never comes back....

And machine...my truck may have more done to it...but i bet yours is cleaner..inside and out..lol

it's not clean anymore. and my drivers seat is being held up (back broke) by my spare tire. and the front and rear bumpers have rust holes....
basically, it's a shell of it's former self.

I hate it when people have such blind loyalty to things without bothering to consider that there might be other options worth appreciating.

Case in point - I'm a Ford guy. I like Ford vehicles and most of the vehicles I've ever owned were Ford products. I own 3 right now. But, that's not to say that if a guy with a very nicely customized Chevy truck were showing it to me I'd go "fuck you man Chevys are shit." You have to adopt a live and let live approach....all that clannish BS about this motor vs. that motor and this brand vs. that brand is so juvenile and ridiculous.

I'm as guilty as the next guy of doing the good-natured pokes at other truck brands but it's never meant to be seriously demeaning.
