Beware of ordering the Finest Cheapest option from RockAuto, fellas. I just got my parts in for the B2 front end (rotors, pads, tie rod ends, balljoints), and the rotors they sent me are freaking rusted! Not just surface rust either. I can probably clean them up, but it's still kind of bush league. That's what I get for being a cheapass. The really irritating part is I could have had the Wagner ones for barely anything more, and just didn't notice them.

Yeah it sucks....but I'm gonna use them anyway because they're still way better than what was on there.

Spent the morning dicking with the front axle yoke and getting the old u-joint out and new one in. I finally ended up having to cut the u-joint in 4 places with the angle grinder and then wailing the old caps out with a sledgehammer. New U-joint went in perfect. Also got the old ball joints out without too much difficulty. I always feel like a hillbilly whenever my solution to a vehicle problem is "hit it with a bigger hammer" but I'll be damned if it doesn't work most of the time.
