Im not sure what day the 4th of july falls on but having a meet that close to the 4th may conflict with holiday family plans. My schedule is mostly open but i do have two weddings, i gotta check to see when they are..i know one is Aug 30.

4th of july is on a thursday, hence why i said July 6 or 7.

So the 4th is Thursday, but maybe people will be out of town that weekend with family stuff??

I have to check with my wife to see when her friend's wedding is...

Anyway i just ordered some cheap off-road lights, round 6", from harbor freight. They will be going on my windfairing light bar on my roof cargo basket.

Now i just need to find covers for them, i was thinking some KC covers, black and red KC letters, but damn those are like $25 a pair!

I have alot going on.
Rigt now my bike is torn apart again and i gotta fix that.
I have two atvs that have been sitting for 2 yrs i want to get them runnig again.
And i have my white ranger i want to get running.
Plus i have my job and im putting in 50-60hrs a week there and in working on my own vinyl decal business.

Just gotta schedule it right....

And if i remember right last October we had planned a meet and everyone backed out, said they were busy or couldnt afford the gas to drive that far. Me and Charlie were the only ones there.

Once i find out when this other wedding is i can plan around that....no issues..

Just dont make me out to be the bad guy thats stopping all of u from having a meet.
Alot of you guys in and around the cities can easily meet up.
For me thats a 3.5hr drive or so lol.

Any meet up will be touch-and-go with me and my work schedule. I started a new job about a month ago and the work is unbelievable. 12-15 hour days every day without fail. Making some dough but still it can suck the life out of a fella. Even getting the gumption together on weekends to do things like work on my trucks is a battle at this point.

I know, I'm a pussy, but it is what it is.

I'd like to do a meet up sometime. I'd make an honest good faith effort to be there and help out if a date gets set.

I haven't done much to the truck since the last meet, really. Ditched the topper, got a tool box, put on a bull bar and did some Hella lights.

I want to get started on the rust repair but I'm like paralyzed at the thought of effing up my doors and fenders and not being able to repair it.

well, my magnaflow system is trashed. after 11 years, the drivers side pipe rusted off the muffler, the main pipe going into the muffler is almost rusted thru.
I had a shop remove the drivers side pipe because the damn thing was rating and clanging. I cannot afford a new system, but i hope to eventually get a regular muffler and just a simple turn down tail pipe. (costs less)
right now, i just have one single tailpipe coming out the back end of the truck.
Damn magnaflow was supposed to be stainless steel, but it rusted anyway!

Stainless steel can still rust.
Theres 304 stainless and 316.
The 304 is the cheapest and has more impurities.
My company got into big trouble with a customer. The salesmen sold them a wash down stainless steel food grade machine...now 1 yr later its got rust all over it because our shopforeman wanted to save $4 a pound and bought the 304 cheap stuff.

On a side note...i see this black stepside 98-00 ranger in town alot, the kid has cb whips on it and a bunch of other crap but what i dont get is that he has a vinyl decal across the top of the windshield that says "Made in Detroit".
