I prefer the quality and durability of the HELLA brand. For your ranger, I recommend the Hella 530 or 550 series. cost is around $85, but well worth it.
Question: Did you want a fog light (short range, wide area of light)
or a Driving light (Long, range, narrow area of light) ?
I could definitely afford the hellas. I'm interested in more of a driving light, but I could be persuaded to go the other way if the short wide beam compliments my existing headlights well. I'm liking those 550 series ones...the kit runs about a hundo on amazon, so that's not too bad. I figure since they mount on the bottom of the light I would just drill through the top of the bumper and go through the frame rather than rigging up a light bar.

Hah, that'd be kind of interesting.

I took a look at the bumper....there are those top bolts that hold the bumper to the frame, but they're pointed out away from the truck at maybe like a 30 degree angle. If I could take those bolts out and bolt the lights into those holes, that'd be nice, but I'm worried the angle would be wrong.

the holes i was talking about are on the bottom of the frame. (the lights would have to be mounted hanging below the bumper. Your better off just drilling 2 holes in the top bumper and mounting the lights on the top bumper.

I don't see why they need to make another multi use facility when they just spent over $1,000,000 to put the new roof on the dome...people are going to be upset when they need to sit out in freezing cold weather haha oh well...the Dome will be missed!!

dome is old, obsolete. the roof was just because of the damage it received in 2011.
we sat out in an open air stadium to watch the vikings from 1960 - 1981

The new stadium won't be open-air anyways. It'll have a roof, it's just a question of whether it'll be retractable or not.

Know what's going to be crazy? The last Vikings game played in the dome. I bet you anything people are going to be ripping pieces of that place apart and taking them home.

I think the seasons at TCF are going to be awesome. That game against the Bears in 2010 was such an unreal atmosphere....it was like bizarro land. Vikes playing outdoors, on short notice, in the snow, with Favre as the QB, in the Gopher stadium, with students jamming the seats. Too bad the lasting image we get of that game is Favre's head smashed into the turf.

My father was at the last game at the Met, and apparently that is exactly what happened. Supposedly someone in our family has a set of bleacher seats somewhere.
