No thats if the door ajar and dome light wont go off....and like I said u dont want to spray wd40 or any other oily greasey lubricant on wire connections...dust and dirt will build up and make things worse.
U would want to use an electric cleaner spray.

Wd40 has helped me but you'd be better off with lithium grease or graphite, Charlie.

Can u believe the bs thats happening in this thread:
lookin for 3.0 tips
Basically a new member with a 3.0 come in and they all bash his 3.0...he has only 2 posts and hasnt replied back in days...hes long gone...
The 4.0 may be a bigger better engine..but why do the 4.0 guys come into the 3.0 section bashing it!!
Why do they have to scare off new members?
This is FORDRANGERFORUM.COM and not FORDRANGER4.0FORUM.COM
So many threads have became nothing but 3.0 bashing threads and all end up getting closed.....
This is not a good way to get more active and contributing members....

The only problem I had with driving my buddies 3.0 on the freeway (other than no cruise control) was that it did take a little more time to start accelerating. The 3.45s and 30s dont help that at all but as soon as it started accelerating it took off. I like the engine. Its strong enough for anything I would need. Also his 1/4 tank lasted the whole 2 hr freeway trip. 55-80 mph all the way with majority being around 75

I have 4.10 gears....and even with my 33s I have very little problem accellerating....
I can easily burn rubber with it..but my 33s are like $200 each...so I baby them..lol.

Hes got an exhaust leak and you can hear it when the engine revs up. Its not a accel problem because of the slack in his throttle cable. Hes since fixed it. He got 2 big ties on it

Yeah..oh well..they closed it..theres already a similar thread poll. ..but that one doesnt let u see who has/voted for what...and I wanted my thread to have different rules....for engines u have..not had...so if they no longer have a ranger they cant vote...it was to get an accurate count of active ranger owners...and not what ranger some f150 owners once had....
Many members on here no longer have their rangers....so their vote wouldnt/shouldnt count...
Also in that other 3.0l tips thread...this guy just told me that ford thought the 3.0 was crap and thats why they stopped putting it in the ranger...but using that theory...well a few years later they stopped making rangers in the US period...with the 4.0s...so ford just thinks all rangers are crap then....so in retrospect the ranger line died with a 4.0 in it...not a 3.0......so even the 4.0 couldnt save ranger sales...

my f150 blew a spark plug / coil over last weekend.......that was fun.
