Me and ropenrein (Jim) thought it would be cool to get together a kansas meet, but we need some ideas on location, time, and what to do. if anyone has any suggestions please let us know so we can get one going. Thanks

perferably close to salina,so i have enough money to make it,and hope gas prices stay decent for december.it'll be great to get our rangers together,n see what we all have ill keep an eye on thread,or pm me when someone figures out whats going on.Heck even here in salina could be good lots of different places to meet,resturants,holiday inn where they have allotta stuff like this,and even a couple nice parks to,and salinas small enough where ever we go it's easy to find,or people are generally nice enough to give directions.laters.

we are thinking about Dec 11th. im in topeka and im willing to go as far east as Kansas City and as far west as manhattan. going any farther would cost a fortune. again this is not set in stone yet so feel free to shoot some ideas and we will get this thing rolling

OK I vote for Lawrence/Topeka area. If STL can make it he comes up from Springfield, MO and we have a few guys from Lawrence. STL would you crosspost with RPS (?) to see if anyone over there might be interested? There were 8 or so at the Independence meet.

oops...ill find out tomorrow for sure but it may have to wait until after the first of the year. I may not be able to get off work because that is getting into a busy time of year. Hopefully we can do it on the 11th though

Ok bad news. My boss wont let me off work on Dec 11th because its going to be busy and he needs me there. I got some interest from members on RPS on doing a meet so maybe we could have one after the first of the year. Just picked a random date but how about January 8? its a saturday. And as far as location, topeka lawrence manhattan kansas city area?

I'm pretty sure I can work that in - we just risk fighting the weather. Location is open to me since all of them are reasonably close.

I vote Topeka. The west guys could come over and the east guys and even the MO people could pop over. The 11th doesn't work for me but hey my job doesn't allow you to have a life so it doesn't matter. If we agree on the 11th I'll see what I could do to get it off. If I can I'm in on going.
