rear wheel bearings are easy to change just a little time consuming. If you do need rear bearings you will need to change the rear diff fluid anyway as well as the axle seals at the wheels.

Hmm may call upon you to help lol. I hope its not that though. At 60MPH it vibrates so bad. I've had my tires balanced, and re-seated plus they are brand new tires, and the old ones did it to.

When I go to stop even at slower speeds sometimes it feels like my rear brakes are hopping, and not grabbing. The pads are brand new all the way around. The rear brakes on both sides have been completely rebuilt with new parts. It really only seems to do it when accelerating as far as the vibration goes, and its right around 55-60 I feel it. I have felt it at lower speeds but very rarely. It seems like if I get on it hard I don't even notice it.

Anyway completely unrelated to what I was just talking about, heres a video from a place I went down in Geneva bottoms. Its hard to tell but the mud hole I am in is deep. I am just in 2WD though, and I was able to easy through it without spinning very much.

Sounds sweet to me. As soon as I order a lift, you guys will know about it

Oh yeah, the trees scraping by made me cringe too, but, it didn't seem to do any/much damage. Nothing a good buffing cant work out.

The lights were a piece of cake, BUT, I eliminated the potential for factory fogs when I did it. I wrecked my rig in February and didn't replace em, so my hellas are running on the factory fog light harness, for you, we would either have to run a completely isolated circuit with a switch in the cab or set up a relay to turn em on when you hit the brights.

The OHC is a piece of cake to set up, but it is really time consuming. Mine doesn't quite sit flush with the roof line, but It doesn't look terrible. I will take some pics and put em up here for ya later, or I can text em to ya. There is only one complaint that I have with the OHC, once you put it in, you cant take it out. That hole is pretty sizable, and it makes me sad to know that I cant have a smooth headliner again without buying a new one. But, I love my ohc. handy compass and temp, plus a place to put my ipod

I got picture messages. I got an iphone so send away if ya want.

Yeah I ain't to worried about setting up the OHC I just want one, could careless if I can't remove it once its put in. I wish I had fogs. It would be a neat idea to wire them to the brights though. Really considering that. I just am not very trusting in doing things like this myself. Wish I had some better seats as well. Are they that hard to get and mount up? The mountaineer seats that is? I don't have power seats but I wish I could find a cloth seat or maybe a nice manual leather seat to go in.

If you ever want to remove your OHC, you can get a headliner at one of the U pull it yards here in Evansville. I got mine for $10 and it loked much better than the one I had.

Yeah that is true. Jazz921 I may need your help after all with those wheel bearings in the rear axle. You think you'd be able to give me a hand when I get ready to tackle this?

I'd say I need a rear gasket for the pumpkin, and the bearings, and the differential fluid + some friction modifier for the rear end. What else is there?

There are also axle seals that need to be removed before we can get the axle bearings out, you will need those to. I would recomend getting those from Ford as they seal better than after market and dont cost a ton either. Is your rear end limited slip for sure? If its not then you dont need the friction stuff. Is it just the axle bearings that need changed?

Its almost got to be. That or the rear end is shot. Axle Code is R6. Its a 3.73 LSD. I had the U-Joints replaced, they are new now. Still got the vibration in the rear, tires are balanced and brand new. Even swapped the fronts with the back. Still having the issue. I'd almost say 90% sure its the bearings that or its the rear end... but I haven't really had any issues that would make me think it was the differential.

I would almost bet that your vibration has nothin to do with the rear end at all. I had that same issue with a vibration that felt like it was in the rear end and it turned out to be one of the front wheel hubs. Mine would do it around 40 to 45 mph and it felt like someone was shaking the bed side to side as I drove.
