The turbo and I probably won't make it this year

My work schedule is not as forgiving this year and I may be changing shifts soon (around the same time as the meet)

If by some miracle I get my new shift before then, I'll be there but I doubt it.

I was planning to attend, and almost made room reservations, but with the recent purchase of a '92 short bed drop gate diesel F250, the $500 or so I'm guessing that the weekend would cost could be put to better use in refurbishing the new member of the stable. Back in the day, I ran Solo II in everything from modded Mustangs, Camaros and MGBs, to an engine swapped RX7, and the thought of doing same in a 4x4 Ranger just doesn't seem like a winning combination. Likewise, drag racing a stock 3.0 automatic sounds almost as exciting as running my 1st Gen Neon prior to mods. And, my truck is nowhere near show quality, which leaves the maybe Swap Meet as a draw, so, maybe next year for me. Have fun guys! If there are any off road trails in the St Louis area, I would recommend adding an organized ride so the four wheelers can stretch their legs and show their stuff. Depending on how things go, I might show up with both trucks next year. I could definitely see drag racing the 7.3 IDI, especially if I decide to boost it. Hopefully one, or both trucks will be show worthy too. So, here's to next year for me.
