Thanks man, I started with the double hoops at the front and just worked my way to the back of the bed. I would suggest just make sure it is fully tied in to the frame as you build one.

That's alright ha. It's quite hectic for me as well. I'm on deployment right now, but on the way home. Just trying to plan how soon I want to get a lift. I'm leaning towards the superlift. I wanted to see what you thought of the superlift.

I wanted to see what kind of lift you got and where you got it. I'm looking for a suspension lift but can't find anything.

A coilover conversion wouldn't be too bad of a project but unfortunately the parts are no longer available. You'd have to find a member selling their kit. The upper and lower shock brackets are what would be needed the most. The rest could be bought or made.

As I said between the winch and the bumper it ended up being about 230lbs or so. Then I added my own homemade skidplate that's all 1/4" steel. Probably another 25-50lbs. I installed #1 torsion bars to help it out and had to crank them up quite a bit. The truck still handles really well. This winter will tell the real tale though. We'll see how light the rear end acts.

    Here's their Ranger page: http://www.custom4x4fabrication.com/...ord_ranger.htm

    Here's the cost breakdown:

    $470.00 Ranger bumper bare
    $29.50 D-rings
    $137.88 Shipping
    $637.38 Total

Get those pics uploaded. Everyone wants to see a new lift on a truck! When I get back to work, I hope to get a Superlift and then do a coilover conversion. I've thought about an SAS but that seems pretty daunting..

Just a 40 Series Flowmaster. I think it sounds perfect! Not to over the top so it doesn't sound like its trying to be something its not if you know what i mean. Low idle rumble and really screams when you get on it. I say dump it like mine if your going to do it and don't let the first couple of weeks fool you they do break in and get louder

I got the front bumper at C4x4. I modified it to have the smaller foglights in it though. They build a quality product and I actually helped them find a defect in two of their brackets. They offered to send me new ones if I'd send the old ones back first but I had already modified them to work. Now they got their ish straight.
