No post mortum yet -- My work suffered it's first every catastrophic failure (2000 amp bus failed, the arc flash all but blew a hole in the side of the building) and I ended up driving the recovery, repair and corrective actions.
The replacement runs significantly smoother, no miss, but less power (guessing from the lack of gasket matching I did on the heads and intake) and still disappointing economy. About 15.5 mpg as a daily driver, with low 20's on the high way.
With other issues turning my work upside down, I've had to ignore the 1st 5.0 but need to get into it. Gotta find out where the metal "dust" in the front oil sump came from.
