Hey TrndAssassin, I was hoping I could ask you a few questions about your truck (because i am absolutely in love with it).

What lowering kit are you using?
How much is it lowered it?
How rough is the ride due to the dropped height?
How nimble is your truck compared to the stock setup?

I think your truck looks amazing. I want to do the same thing as you but with Bullitt rims, projector headlights, black LED tails, and black LED third brake light. I'll probably get it repainted at some point (I'm not a fan of sunharvest gold). I was thinking grabber orange, black, or white.

Any and all info/advice/suggestions you can give me... would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks

No, Im almost done repairing the area Now, Using Kitty hair, and spot putty as my leveler on the top, thing is. the corner that is repaired is sanded down to primer...now its feathered nicely to where I cant really feel the transition from paint to primer ..is that a big deal..because...adding spot putty to that area ..to try and bring it up to paint level on the rest of the hood is a real bitch trust me ive tried once or twice rofl! I can get some good pics of the hood if you think it would help give advice...

ok other than the body work where it is jacked up, sand the whole hood, with 500, since its going a solid color with no metalic (it's white correct?).. all you have to do is take the shiny off, if thr are any rock chips mix a little tiny spot of bondo (like a drop the size of a qaurter) add a drop of harder.. apply to the chip with a razor blade (using the blade as squeegy) after it dries sand spot lighty with 500.. just make sure you cant feel it, if you can feel it you can see it when its painted (old saying "if you paint over a rock you'll see a rock".... does that help? are you having them fix the damage area?

I understand..... when it comes to any shop, they'll need to match the existing color on your truck, (doing a sprayout card and holding it up to your truck).. if they pull the code and panel paint the hood, thrs a good chance it "wwill not" match...... My friend shawn here n London Ky does great work and he's the cheapest I've ever heard of, he wld paint it for $100-150. I dnt see how he ever makes any money, even cheap paint is exspensive. as far as warranty, dnt worry about that, if you do all the prep/sanding your self, you'll know tha paint wont lift cause you sanded it, maaco doesnt sand everything. if you need any help or have any questions fell free to ask.

Yeah I paint, $250 is fair, if it's reputable shop... take in considerration I charge $500 to repair/paint a gas tank (bike)... if the hood is a diff color than you truck, prep it for paint top n bottom, use 3M aerosole bed liner on the underside (black) ...you should be able to find a shop that will spray the top side for a $100-$150,
