Nope hah. The switch has the 3 options where when it's on the far left it turns the left light on and the middle makes it so the lights turn on when the doors open and the right turns the right light on but the lights stay on unless I find the sweet spot.

I just had another thought. I don't remember if I was losing power before this or not but I removed the grounding screw in my cab light so it didn't come on everytime I opened my door because I've had it stay on before. Think if I put the screw back in to ground the lights it might fix it?

That sucks dude, it sounds like the head unit is bad. You said it never drained before the head unit swap right? I'd confirm it first by running without a radio for a few days to see if you hold a charge, and while there is no radio take it to Auto Zone, or equivalent local parts store, and have them test the battery. Then there will be no doubt, if that all checks out it has to be the radio. I hope you get it straightened out. I've been there before myself, getting jumps, the uneasy feeling of wondering if your battery will be dead when you need it, pretty frustrating stuff.

Okay I'll check it out next time I'm willing to take everything out again haha. My dash is so stuffed with wires I hate it.

Cool, that means the wire that the yellow one was connected to is your hot at all times connection, which should indeed connect to the yellow wire on your head unit. Now you have to find the wire that is hot with the key on and connect your power(red) wire to it. Ironically, i think the hot in on wire for your model is yellow with a black stripe.

Hey I disconnected the yellow wire on my head unit and it didn't even turn on. It said constant on it too, that's the one I was supposed to disconnect to check right?
