Hey everyone, I'm having check engine lights issues-
I have a 3.0L V6 2004 Edge model Ranger.
It runs well, except when it gets warmed up the idle is rough.
I changed the spark plugs, wires, power coil, changed oil- still runs the same way.
Took it into the dealer, and they said that it's having compression issues on cylinders 4 and 5- and that it will cost 1500 just to open it up and look at it.
I can't afford it, and i can't pass smog with the engine light on- anybody got any ideas- I can do simple mechanic stuff- or is it a very involved (and difficult) fix?
