That was going to be my next suggestion. Glad you fixed it.

If you put the bulb back in, does the stock light work? You might have just popped the fuse.

Nope, bulb is not needed. Something is not connected tight or not wired right.

yeah i was trying to rush to get my rear flipped a few months ago, couldnt get the bolts out, decided id take my time and make sure i have allll the stuff i need, cuz theres no runnin to fastnel to grab bolts when both the leaf springs are on the floor next to your truck and its midnight. kind of a variation on the measure twice cut once idea. lol. easily can be done in a week end. prolly THE most important thing to have....saftey glasses, rust in the eyes hurts bad. lol. trust me, and the 2 guys that helped me......

if its rusty get 6 grade 8 9/16" by 4.5" bolts with nuts. a leaf spring and shackle bushing kit 4.2134G from energy suspensions. new U bolts which i got at a spring shop near me. and a few cut off wheels for a grinder. (**optional** several cans of monster incase it turns into a long night) and what you do on the front bushings is litterally slip the grinder in between the spring and the hanger and burn through the stock bushing and cut the bolt. sounds confusing but one you get going youll understand. then i litterally burnd my stock bushings out with a propane torch. my truck has been in western NY its whole life (we salt the roads ) and it took me and 2 buddys 10 hours (not really 10 straight hours) to flip the rear axle, a job that most guys say 2-3 hours took us from 630pm-430am. 110% worth it though.

Just a word of warning if your truck is rusty underneith. Get as much replacement hardware as possible. When i did the rear end, i cut the u bolts and leaf bolts and replaced the leaf bushings. Because everything was so rusty and stuck, i didnt even want to bother trying to save any of it.

i gotta take more recent pics of my truck. ive done a few things since the last set of pics. mainly the 4inch drop in the rear. amazingly its only got about 1 inch of cali lean cuz my front springs sagged so much. ive got hugeee plans for this truck i cant wait till i get a large chunk of them done, once the expo consoles go in itll prolly be lower the front then hopefully 12 inch brakes up front, and disc swap out back.

Thank you for the comment on my truck! glad to see theres someone else out there that likes it. believe it or not, its a LONG way from where it was when i got it, and no where near close to being "done". but, for a college kid with a part time job, its coming along...slowly. thanks again i really appreciate it!
