Need help: I have an '02 ranger 3.0L v-6 started having rough idle problems a few weeks ago so changed ignition coil because I was getting intermitent sparks with spark tester. Still rough idle so I replaced plugs and wires. Idles smoother but it feels like is idleing too low. Almost goes dead if I cut on the a/c, lacks power when climbing hills, feels like the converter is backfiring. I cleaned the MAF sensor and IAC valve. noticed today that the PCV valve is loose sitting in the rubber gromet and that the hose connecting to it kinks when vacuum pressure is applied. I don't want to throw parts at the problem is there any way to test for vacuum leaks, O2 sensors, IAC Valve,...? It throws code P0171-Bank 1 system too lean Any ideas?
