Check for bad plugs and wires man. That may be causing the misfires. I had a 93 2.3 and a couple bad plugs which killed one coil pack

Im not really sure. If i had to take a guess id try swapping the plugs first.
If I where you id post this in the 4 banger tech section and see what other people think.

i checked out crew cabs and with mods they say they should fit . i think 4x4 floor pans are differant than our 4x2 .really enjoying the 2.5l . im heading to st.louis this summer so im gonna look for frf along the way. i always liked chicago. ill keep u updated and u like wise . ltr
