Picture Flannel Interior Project
Recently added flannel fabric to the door panels on driver and passenger sides. This DIY project can be very tedious and took about 5 hours to accomplish. 3M 77 fabric adhesive spray, Scotch Guard fabric protector, and some elbow grease all came together for a rewarding project.

Picture Radio Installation
Ford Rangers are nice, but they could do better in the radio department. I installed a 2003 Sony radio into the Ranger and it works great because of its iPod hookup. It came from my previous car, a 2000 KIA Sephia (blugh), but I'm thrilled with it!

Picture Rust
It appears the rust on the underside is only surface rust. I'm going to take care of it ASAP because I can't afford to have it spread, and winter is on its way in New England. DIY seems like the best option right now, just need some time to do it all with a wire bruish and possibly POR 15.

Picture 2001 Ford Ranger XLT
New pics of a Ranger I bought Oct. 15 2011. I have many ideas for this truck that will eventually get set into motion. As for now, it's just your basic 4x4 Ranger.

  Rust Restoration
DIY projects are the way to go for rust restoration and my results proved why. I spent no more than $50 on my products including 1 quart of Rustoleum Truck Bed Coating, 1 can of truck bed spray, 1 can of primer and several wire/paint brushes.

Preparation is the top priority in this situation besides safety. Getting the frame, control arms, and undercarriage sanded down was the hardest part because it's so tedious. I used the bed liner paint on broad surfaces and resorted to the bed liner spray in tighter areas. The spray is thinner and something I wouldn't recommend, but it gets the job done where a brush cannot. It's not as good as POR-15, but it's definitely a step up from other options.

Enjoy!
