I have an 02 Ranger. 2.3L, 5-spd. There is an air/ticking sound around top of motor at idle, when you raise rpm to above 2000, you can hear a valve or something move, clicking stops and engine smooths out. sounds like an air leak, but I'm at witts end. Can anybody help?
