I just hooked up the blend door thingy and the fan speed controller. Basic head unit power. Thats it! It was fairly easy. Be very cautious of the blend door actutator peg. Mind broke off and I had to cut the bottom of the heater box to remove.
I'm back to bother you again. I found a thread from a while back where you installed an Explorer EATC in your truck with only the manual controls. I want to do the same. I'm not interested in all the sensors and the auto function. I've gone over the guide on Cardomain, but the author of that did all of the sensors and auto controls. My question is, how did you hook yours up to be only manual? What did you use and what didn't you use from the Explorer? Thanks for any help! It'll be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for the write-up on the ball joints, Pooleo. I didn't have any issues when I replaced my ball joints (I rented the press), but I did have an issue with negative camber. I oriented the bolts the way you said to do so in your write-up (I did have to grind a little material off of them so that they would fit that way, though), and it kicked the tires back in to where they should be. Thanks again.
