I am new to this forum and have recently purchased my first Ranger, she's a 2000 model acquired from the first owner who put 185k hard earned miles on it.
I'd like to fix her up for my son as his first ride (within a year and a half). It seems to have been well maintained but it's a bit tired and well worn. It'll need a new front suspension ie:ball joints, control arms, end links for the sway bar, the radiator has a small crack, a pinion seal maybe, front brakes pads and probably a valve cover gasket and surely a fan belt.
I was thinking about lowering it by about an inch and putting some 16" factory type rims on it for a more personalized stance. This project will be on a budget of about a thousand bucks. Any tips or suggestions could be helpful. Thanks much, Mon
