Mike I came home from work at the beginning of this holiday and on 12/21/14 the truck would not start. I did not hear the normal sound of the fuel pump, so I replaced the relay 1st, then the filter 2nd then the pump & sender unit 3rd. the battery went completely dead during this process and it was replaced as well. Now it tries to start but back fires do you have any idea of what is wrong?

Well you have one sharp and popular car man.. I bought my wife a 65 mustang several years ago from my great aunt.. The car is in great original shape and has the original 200 6 cylinder in it.. I've had it put up for a few years in my father inlaws basement!! We are gonna pass it on down to my daughter when she grows up.. My old galaxie im giving to my son.. Now my old chevy truck will be what i restore someday.. I've had the old truck 23 years now.. I've got lots of good memories in that old truck
