Well it sounds like you know best. If its rated for 2000lbs better check the weight of the body

Metal tubes can be crushed from weight and can bend. Not very safe

I finally did get some heat out of the new radiator, I blocked it all off except for 2 little 5" holes & now am getting some good heat, most important tho I have no leaks from the plastic & aluminum expanding & contracting differently. The new all aluminum radiator is pricey but I shouldn't have to replace it every 2 or 3 years like the plastic ones. This one I got from Idaho for $397.00 plus shipping & it is a 2 core, very nice work. If anybody wants I can post some photos of the radiator & later I can post the truck when it gets warm enough to go outside with the camera.

You need the spacers too, the kind that can withstand the weight of the body

You are better off getting a new one so you dont have to worry about missing parts, cross threaded bolts and stuff like that. Its worth it man. Get it from summit, its the best way to go, they have their own kits and PA kits but they are pretty much the same ones

I saw some on R/F and Bru has one. But you should just buy one new, their prices are the same as buying a new one
