Nice truck! How do you like the rocky road sliders? I'm thinking about buying a pair. Can you tell me how many rails attach to the frame and how much frame drilling you had to do? Also, have you come down hard on any rocks with them yet? If so, how did they fare?
Hey man, I have been reading up on the RS500's and you're one of the only members I could find so far with them installed all the way around, and you're from BC. What are the chances...
Anyway, how do you like em, what did you pay, and you bought the 2" higher replacements? I was looking at OEM but if they make a 2" version then that's the way I would go.
on the inside of the bumper there is a support line of plastic that goes across. i cut just below that to give some support and still take a bunch off. it does help spproach angle and it keeps mud out of there too. Biggest reason for me was mine was cracked.
i used a metal cutoff disc but its not the best idea. i then used a belt sander table to smooth and straighten the cut line as ii did it free hand.
