    Hey kj5qw:

I was wondering if you might be able to help me out. I saw your post on changing your clutch and was needing some help myself.
I have a 94 Ford Ranger 2wd 3.0 6 cylinder and I am having problems with the clutch. When I am going down the road it sounds like the engine revving with no increase in speed. Everyone tells me that it sounds like the clutch is slipping. The mechanic at the place I bought the truck says that the clutch plate needs replacing, but everyone else tells me that I need to get an entire clutch kit and either replace or resurface the flywheel.
I really can't afford to have the work done and was wondering if you knew of any resource that would give me detailed instructions on how to do this. Thanks
