Im old school doit yourself I just picked up a91xltslt custom 4x4 extended cab all power ever hear of one?

I have a 2001 ford ranger supercab the 8TH vin # digat is( V )3.0L V-6 flex feul engine 2x4.#2 fuse blown in cab fuse panel runs your back up lights ,blower moter ,runing lights , O/D for transmission,&air bag on& off switch.The fuse Blew and the Air bag light on my dash stayed on.The problem was the small 2 wire harness rubed both wires bare at the gear shifter and colum area.Poor folk repair job is easy,heres how.Theres a tan wire with white stripe & a purple wire with red strip pluged into the black sheathed with 2 wires branded or twisted inside wich are a blackish gray coler wich is the O/D button wirng harness that run up threw the gear shifter into the button.Unplug it &replace the #2 fuse its fixed.You saved some cash!Use gear shifter for pullen& climbing.
