it should atleast help it, im glad youve found a fix for your truck, im not the most mechanically inclined but that little sensor can mess some stuff up haha good luck bro and keep me updated.

i got looking around under there and i dont know why i didnt see this to begin with but who ever thought they were a mechanic and did stuff to it decided that it didnt need a mas air flow and took it all out, i have replaced the breather box and everything but now i need to get another computer connection from a junk truck to fix mine so i can take the pins out of it and rewire my MAF into the system. thanks for your help and i really hope this fixes the problem

check the thread about cleaning it and like i said make sure there is nothing that looks like it shouldnt be there and hopefully that can help some of the problem

he may have wired up something on the MAF on the front air intake to help increase power which is just like a resistor (cheap) which causes it to "gain performance" look around the Air intake for anything that doesnt look factory because you shouldnt be going throught that much gas in 17 miles
