ickie
I got a 1998 ranger xlt 4x4, wih just 13,000 miles on it. I did not learn to drive on a stick (which this ranger is) and I started very optimistic 2 weeks ago, but I am more and more discouraged as I cannot consistently move the truck from a full stop into first. I practice on a level road I will get 3 out ot 4 attemps right. I think I am releasing the clutch to soon and then the engine just dies on me. I learn to drive on an automatic, and I basically join this forum for moral support as I am so discourraged, I feel I am going to give up or going to kill the clutch or get an automatic box installed --I'm guessing this is very expensive. is there any trick out there to get it always right?
