Hi Huffa,

I was researching a problem I had with my 2005 ford ranger, and it looks like you had the same issue a couple years ago. It shifts hard into 3rd gear (automatic), so far I cleaned the MAF sensor; the issue is still present. Did you ever solve your problem you had? If so what did you have to do? Thank you in advance for your time and support.

alright I'll post some tommorrow hopefully i've gotta clean my truck and vacuum it out its pretty dirty. I'll upload some pics then and give you the link.

hey man, I know this is a weird question, but could I get some pictures of your front seats and console in your truck? I saw your picture thread, and noticed that you have the style of seat that I like. Im thinking about re-upholstering mine in that style

oh ok sorry i didn't know lol I'm working on getting a ranger back in my life i tried to buy mine back but he wanted too much so i'm going with a better one then i will be able to relate better to other peoples problems

Thanks for the suggestion man, but I covered that awhile ago. All I have to do is test the fuel pressure and vacuum under load, it's just so dang hot that I have very little motivation to get out and actually do it.
