2005 Ford Ranger XLT extended cab 3.0 liter v6 8th letter is a U. Its idles erraticallly up and down as soon as you crank it. If you let it try to idle it will almost throw the engine light and then die. If you hold it to around 2000 or 2500 rpm it will almost throw the light drop way down then regain and stay running. I have replaced the fuel filter and the iac vavle and the throttle positioning sensor and nothing has worked. Thank you for any help. Ronnie

2. Engine size & 8th letter of the VIN, to verifiy engine type.
3. Details as to when the Misfire happens? ie. wet, hot, idle, rpm,
4. list of engine mods
5. what services you have performed

get me those, so I have some what of good foundation.
