Hi. I have a 2003 ford ranger edge 4.0L 5speed standard. 65000 miles. I was returning from Florida recently and pulled into a resturant . after wewe were finished there, I went to start the truck, there was nothing. I tried a few more times turning the key to start and nothing. ( the battery is only two months old) I walked to a garage and when the mechanic came, he told me to try the key again. It started right up. I started it three times no problem.. Today it happened again in my driveway. I wondered if anybody has ever had this problem. Thank you

After we were finished there, I went to start the truck ,there was nothing. I tried a few more times turning the key to start,and nothing. (The battery is only two months old.) I walked to a garage and when the mechanic came ,he told me to try the key. It started right away. I drove 600mi had no problem. Today it happened again in my driveway. I used my wife's key and it started .I shut it off and used my key and it started. I wondered if it was the computerized key or possibly the clutch input switch.I would like to know if anyone has any ideas. thank you very much for any input.
